ARIES - the Accident Repair Industry Environmental Standard - is an industry-wide framework designed to help UK accident repair businesses reduce their environmental impact. The programme provides a structured five-level roadmap that supports organisations in implementing measurable sustainability practices and reducing their carbon footprint.
To achieve Level 4 status, FMG Repair Services successfully implemented a robust Carbon Reduction Management Plan and demonstrated a substantial reduction in carbon emissions across its operations.

ARIES was developed through collaboration between insurers, manufacturers, repair groups, suppliers, and sustainability specialists, creating a comprehensive framework to support businesses across the sector as they transition towards more sustainable operations while maintaining efficiency.
Alongside the launch of new bodyshop sites and refurbishment projects across existing facilities, FMG Repair Services has continued to focus on measurable carbon reduction initiatives, supported by significant investment in energy-efficient technologies including spray booths, heating systems, and lighting upgrades.
